Promedica Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

Promedica24 has been following national guidance issued by the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and partners during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guidance has been communicated with staff and clients to ensure individuals are aware of all preventative measures, in addition to their standard infection control procedures.

Our Care Workers undertake extensive prevention and control training, and their health is closely monitored by our Care Team professionals to ensure they are able to provide care and support on a daily basis.

Further guidance has been issued to staff in case of any known contact with at-risk countries, for those returning from a category 1 or 2 area, and/or if a case has been suspected/confirmed.

“As a health and social care provider, Promedica24 takes the health and wellbeing of its staff, clients and the local community very seriously and has procedures in place to work alongside the Government to manage and mitigate risk. Our contingency plans ensure we are well prepared for pandemics, such as COVID-19, and our leadership and management teams in the UK and Poland are monitoring the situation daily, to ensure we can continue to provide the best quality of care. We are working together with our clients and their families to ensure people are kept well and will do whatever we can and need to do to this end.” Paula Beaney Quality Assurance Director
